Dog Day Studio


Dog Day Studio is a dynamic space for photographers and creatives to book lighting and darkroom time, hire photographers, exhibit work, and host community workshops. I developed a brand identity that reflects the vibrant culture and tight-knit community of photographers in Arizona. The concept was inspired by the warm, earthy tones of the desert, paired with the bold, playful style of Mexican hand-lettering and typography commonly seen around Tucson. Visual motifs of time were incorporated across the brand identity to play off the name "Dog Day," emphasizing both the community-driven aspect of booking shared space and the creative potential that comes with dedicated time in the studio. This identity captures the studio's spirit as a welcoming hub for artistic collaboration and growth.
