Deconstruction Exhibition


I developed the brand identity and co-curated a textile art show in Brooklyn, N.Y. Unfortunately COVID did not allow us to exhibit, but we created an online textile community to share tutorials and connect during lockdowns.

CURATOR STATEMENTWe categorize textiles by the way they relate to the human senses, especially touch. Textiles are a tool to express our world, particularly when we need to deconstruct it to understand the fibers that it is made up of. The fabric of society can slowly unravel, or it can quickly rip at the seams. We go with the grain, or against it. The re/ or de/ construction of textiles is more than a utilitarian means to an end. it’s a way of expression.
